  1. عن عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قَالَ : ( لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْوَاشِمَاتِ وَالْمُوتَشِمَاتِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ لِلْحُسْنِ ، الْمُغَيِّرَاتِ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ يَعْقُوبَ ، فَجَاءَتْ فَقَالَتْ : إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي عَنْكَ أَنَّكَ لَعَنْتَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ ، فَقَالَ : وَمَا لِي أَلْعَنُ مَنْ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم َ) رواه البخاري (4886) ومسلم (2125) .

  2. Being a South Asian man, I understand the stigma around the tattoos, I have planned to have one for ages but just couldn’t come out of that fear despite no religions prejudice.
